A biennial or perennial trailing herb with broad or narrow divided leaves, similar to the common celery plant. It has very small white to pink flowers in November to January and requires well drained soil ins a sunny to dappled shade position. It is considered a bush food and was used as a celery substitute by the early European settlers.
